November Meeting

Our October newsletter went out to members this week, and in it Stacy Diokno described our November program:  Barbara Hutson graciously agreed to provide a wonderful lecture for us! She will be sharing her research of the Accomack County Virginia Sampler. Barbara has visited the area where the sampler maker lived and went to school. She also has documented another Accomack County sampler c. 1814! This will be an really exciting lecture to listen and learn from Barbara!

Okay. The type on this post is almost too small, even for me, to read. LOL

Hello! I am wondering how I can meet up with this guild. I live in Winchester, and am interested in meeting and stitching with other ladies! Thanks! Salayne

We would enjoy having you join us. We generally meet the second Saturday of each month beginning at 9:30 am at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Leesburg, Va. So, our next meeting will be on November 13th. It should be an interesting meeting as we have scheduled a lecture on an Accomack County Virginia Sampler as well as some other fun activities planned. Please bring whatever you are currently stitching and join us for the morning.
