Several years ago (2005 maybe?), Joanne Harvey’s reproduction of the Lora Standish Sampler was a Loudoun Sampler Guild project. Some of our members have stitched it; some are working on it now; and for some it’s still in the stash. Now, Cindy Steinhoff reports, there is a new blog by a stitcher who is doing the sampler with a small group. She is posting photos and comments, band by band.
The Loudoun Sampler Guild is a group of sampler enthusiasts based in northern Virginia. We meet monthly for lectures, needlework classes and workshops, and field trips.
