September Program: Quaker Hearts Pin Ball

The Loudoun Sampler Guild’s own Sharlotte DeVere will join us in September to teach her new design: the Quaker Hearts Pin Ball.  Her design won an honorable mention in the Piecework Magazine Pin Cushion competition. Those of you who subscribe to the magazine will see her winner in the next issue which arrives in mid-August.

The class will focus on finishing the piece.  The kit is for finishing supplies only and will cost $10. The chart for the design to stitch will be emailed to those participating in the class shortly after the deadline for signing up – August 11.

Choice of linen and thread colors will be left up to each student to decide – all of us surely have enough in our stashes to choose from!  The design is not difficult and can be easily stitched before the September class.

This is a lovely design which could also double as a Christmas ornament, so be sure to sign up!

Oh, what a lovely creation. Too bad I can’t come and take the class! Have fun with each other!
