Linen As Armor

It’s a posting by one of the authors of a new book published by Johns Hopkins University Press about a very different use of linen. The author and her colleagues decided to make a replica of the armor that Alexander the Great is shown wearing on the famous “Alexander Mosaic” from Pompeii.
